Scholarship Information - several scholarships are available for students majoring in political science or public administration.  These are open to juniors and seniors.  Call the Departmental office (836-5630) for more information or click on the following link for current scholarship information.

Student Exchange Programs - the Department of Political Science has  recently developed exchange programs for study abroad in both Switzerland (University of Bern) and Taiwan (National Sun Yat-Sen University).  These agreements present exciting opportunities for our students.  Click on these links for more information. 


Student Clubs/Honor Societies
.  Active student clubs include:

Internship Programs -  these provide students with practical work experience by placing students as interns in city/county agencies, law firms, etc.  Opportunities are available for a legislative internship with the Missouri General Assembly in Jefferson City each Spring semester.  The department works with the Missouri State Cooperative Education Program in assisting students to obtain work experience related to the undergraduate major. 



Missouri Public Affairs Academy
The Missouri Public Affairs Academy brings together talented and aspiring students from throughout the state to develop their understanding of public affairs.  It is a great opportunity to benefit from a talented and accomplished group of political and community leaders in the state.  The Academy combines lectures with hands-on projects, field trips, simulations and contests.  The curriculum is focused to learning process both fun and interesting.
