* PLS 205 and 232 may not double-count toward the Core Requirement and PLS Field Requirement .  PLS 397, 399, 493, 494, 495, 496, 497, 598 may count as electives or can be assigned to fields as appropriate.  No more than six hours of credit will be counted toward the major from PLS 399, 493, 494, 498.   The Public Law minor requires PLS 419, 515, 517, 519; electives are CRM 210, PHI 340, PLS 451, 493, 551, 567, PSY 320, RIL 231, 531, SOC 380; no more than three credit hours of courses taken for the B.A. PLS major may be counted on the Public Law minor.  It is highly advisable to supplement this major with MTH 285.
